Congratulations to 17 year old Kevin Cable Jr. of Cleves, Ohio. Kevin trained his own female “Cable’s Sweet Talking Lady” out of Gr Nite Ch PKC CH Salt Creek Rapid River Sockett and Nite Ch PKC CH Tree Talking Jess and has started putting her in the hunts at a young age. Lady’s date of birth is September 21, 2007.
The duo made their Nite Hunt debut at the Sixth Annual Kids World on Friday June 20, 2008 in Brazil, Indiana with 75 entries Kevin and Lady placed 7th with a score of 250+.
At the annual United English Breeders & Fanciers Youth Championship Saturday June 21, 2008 at St Leon, Indiana with 25 entries Kevin and Lady placed 3rd with 550+. (see photo to right)
Kevin's and Lady placed second overall at the October 2008 PKC Youth World Hunt in Aurora, Kentucky.
Kevin took Lady to the PKC Indiana State Championship in Rushville, Indiana on March 27th, 2009. They got in the final four with a good plus point score and the young man took the veteran handlers back out and won the late round with plus points.
Lady continued her winning ways at the PKC Junior Super Stakes at Sullivan, Indiana in April 2009. Kevin and Lady bested the majority of the 360 pup field to finish in the top eight of the championship!
Look out for Kevin and Lady in the hunts this spring and summer. More news to come I am sure.
